Dear Election Commission of India (ECI) first let me apologise that I could not utilize my vote, my only right to define the future of the largest democracy on the earth, in 2014 Indian elections. Almost ten years into professional life, having been answering twenty to thirty interview calls per year on an average, the question which I still feel the toughest in an interview is “Why should we hire you?” It has always been a puzzle since the time I started my career: Should I start answer it with the subject matter qualifications or should I get along explaining personal strengths I possess? I found there is no perfect answer; as it is apt to say, the situation demands the type of response. But for the most times, as I think, one should start answering this question by discussing their strengths and weaknesses clubbed with anecdotes to give the bigger picture of themselves, so that making an interviewer’s job less hectic. It was relatively a difficult situation a couple of years ago - when mobile had stormed the telecommunications market - to express what exactly one was going through while texting the other person located miles away. Isn't it? Of course, it is.  We had to type in various mathematical function keys to make up the expressions like happy ( :-) ) or unhappy (:-(). Gone were those days where we literally had to enter _/\_ these keys for simple gesture of Namaste.   Back then, when mobile usage was still in its early days, creating emoticons wasn't that easy as one had thought of. As the demand for redundant content is high on rise every minute, the production of the same should be abundant preferring quality over quantity, strategy over urgency and should be reactive over proactive.   It is not how vast one’s web portal is, but how accurate the information it provides will decide the longevity of any web portal in this internet-ruling era.
